Thanks guys, They are "going through it" right now to see if there are any items that need to be taken care of under warranty (it has 18,000 miles) I should know by tomorrow if I'm flying out on Thursday.

I'm crossing my fingers for ya, Bill. I just bought a 9' longboard and it won't fit in the vette! :nonono:

Me either Beau, and John, it would be nice to see you back out in the water. I just ordered a 6'8" last week myself.
I talked to them (it is a Chevy dealer) this morning, they have it over at a Ford (SVT) dealer doing warranty work and It's supposed to be ready for me to pick up tomorrow. haven't talked to them this evening.
Anxious doesn't begin to describe it.

Bill,
is Pat going with you ? Woman see things that us men miss so she may spot something that you may have missed. :D

Fred :flag:

Yeah, like the "minor" price discrepancy between what you told her it would cost and what you actually had to pay for it! :jaw: j/k

Seriously though, Fred's got a good point. I'd have a hard time getting my head out of the engine bay and giving the rest of the car a good look over.

Well, I'm back. And you guys are so right. Pat did notice things that I didn't. She noticed all the cosmetic flaws and the guy was pretty good (after I worked him over) and was knocking off money from the price we had agreed on over the phone, $100 here, $200 there, etc.
First of all remember this truck was on a Chevy lot. These guys had no idea what they were looking at. I asked over and over on the phone "has there been any modifications"? (besides the cosmetic ones I could see in the pictures) No. no, everything looks original to me, he'd say.
Well, it's got a few things, like an after market intake tube and filter, a full Bassani exhaust, and it's been lowered. Also, when I asked if the tires were any good they said they would replace the rears because they had more wear then the fronts (go figure), so they put on two Nitto 555 extremes.
It has Crager SS wheels and when I looked under the hard tonue cover, I found the original set of SVT's.
It still has the stock blower pulley but I'm not sure about the crank, because it sure seems to peg the boost guage pretty quick.
And, it feels to me like it has a shift kit installed because it shifts real quick.
The truck has a few cosmetic blems but over all I'm sooo stoked!
It hauls A$$. It looks Bad A$$. and I got it for 6K under blue book.
I just can't believe I'm actually at work right now.
We got home at 3 am, the thing was COVERED in bugs from the drive and I was so jacked up, I got up at 7 am and washed it
When I get home, I'll send you guys some pics and maybe someone can post for me.
Well, I am officially SVT, or as my daughter likes to say "Special Victims Team" :nice:

:flag: Congrats Bill on the truck with all the goodies :nice:
I feel your pain about the *#%$@% bugs. I commute to Phoenix once a month and the first thing I do is was my vehicle :D

Fred :flag:

Thanks Fred!
And yeah man, I had to pull over like 3 times because I could barely see out the windshield! And after they had the thing all buffed up shiney for me :(

Congrats Bill

and Yes welcome to the SVT Club :D

It is probably stock, it may have had a pulley swap at one point, who knows..

But, those Roots type S/C's have that thing....they hit full boost awful quick
