Guys,

Decided to get rid of that large gap between the rear tire and the fender well so I purchased the Ford Rosch Rear Springs (only) and an adjustable panhard brace...

Now the car is competely level and I still have the height in the front end to take driveways and other road hazards without bottoming out....

With the spoiler, every inch counts...

Handling better too...

Check my pictures...

Dear Scro,

By the time these springs settle, I'll be a very old man...

They come from Ford Rosch so I'm sure they are a quality product...

In the words of Nike, "JUST DO IT"...

Dave

That looks nice. I'm definitely going to install my rears first, and see how she looks. I got H&R springs. How much did your rear drop? H&R says 3/4" for theirs.

OK Guys,

Now here's the scoop!!!

Bought the rear springs from Ford Roush Accessories web site:

http://www.fordaccessories.com/catalog/fordaccessories/cars/mustang/roushaccessories.aspx

It's the only place I found that will sell (rear springs only)... Cost $103.45

Got an adjustable panhard brace off ebay for about $94.25 plus shipping...

The adjustable panhard brace is used to re-align the rear axle and differential after lowering springs are installed...

Had my friendly neighborhood muffler shop do the installation. These guys paid me just to have a chance to work on a perfect 2005 GT...

No front end alignment necessary!!!

Tail lights are outlined with 1/4" pinstriping tape in the same color as the car. Cost is $4.95 for 40 feet (and I have plenty left) Pretty slick, hah???

Easy to do, looks great, many compliments from others...

Now if I use larger (bigger diameter) tires someday, they will fill the wheel wells very nicely...

Dave

Kudos!

This is EXACTLY what I've been waiting for ... I was hoping that someone would sell the rear spring set alone.... that's excellent!

& BTW, the car looks great!

Wow. Never paid enough attention to see the rear was higher than the front stock.. too busy to pay attention I guess. that looks great, and I totally dig the chin spoiler. It's kinda like the Mach 1 chin spoiler for '99 - '04, definitely should have came with the car... I think I like the painted ones for the '05 alot better though, 'cuz yours looks outstandingly clean.

thats the way they should have come stock. makes the whole car look better!! you still have the ride height, but no more rake!!!! thats what i am gonna do!!!!

FORD is so smart!!!

They made the 2005 Mustang GT with so many imperfections that guys like us spend thousand of dollars trying to correct the Ford's F***ked Up design shortcomings...

What a marketing plan...

If they made them the way they were supposed to make them, we would have nothing to talk about...

Thanks for all the great words...

"I love you guys"!!! Dave :hail2: :hail2: :hail2: :hail2:

Yes, Steeda will sell the rear springs by themselves. They lower the rear exactly 1".

A panhard bar is NOT needed because of lowering the car. The rear end is off center from the factory. It just becomes noticable once the car is lowered. (or wider wheels and tires are installed)

Dear Stangnut,

You must have a special deal with Steeda because all their sites advertise the Spring Sets (sold as four springs) and not just front or rear springs...

I wish I had your relationship with Steeda...

Now there are two choices for rear springs...

Thanks, Dave
