This is just an observation and for those of you that think these cars are too slow. It's true that these engines are slow stock but have lots of potential.

Now that I put that Ford Racing 65mm TB on the car it's like it took away a major bottleneck. I was waiting for the "click" in my head to say "your there." It clicked. I usually compared everying to my 94 LT1 I had with bolt ons. It ran 13.8 average with a 13.5 best with just a CAI and headers. I can say this car is now right in that range and feels pretty good.

I could stop here for a while if I were smart now that it is running well, but in a few weeks I'll probably have to start putting money together for some of the mod like heads or somethin.

Haha, i agree completely, now that i did my intake and injectors, my car wont run worth a dang. Im just thinking of buying a built 331 and putting my s/c on that... but i am like 100k in debt from college.... O well, everyone needs 400 hp!

:jaw: 100K! With that much spent on school..... I'd think you can get a GOOD job to take care of that debt....

Well its not really that bad. I go to Drexel university for Engineering, so i SHOULD make 50-60k a year starting salary(average at the school for engineers). Also, i have co-op built into the the schooling, so i go to school for 6 months, then work for 6. Thats good for 15-20k doing that. I do that three times, so there is 45-60k towards school. The total cost for school is like 35k a year, for 5 years, but i have a bunch of scholorships and such as well, so it all should work out i hope.. if not i can always fake my own death!

Haha! Yea, it's like "hey I installed a turbonator and now I am running 12's!" Hehe.

Forget the turbonator, I've got dual air freshners and a recently replaced muffler bearing. I think these mods added at least .001 HP. I should be able to run 9's with my stock motor and gears now. Right? :D

Still running stock 56mm unit. Jealous of the 65 and over croud and I am not talking age. Got a few more mods, until I catch up. Figured on doing intake and TB and possibly even cam at the same time. 75MM port matched to Trick Flow is the game plan, with matched cam. Just need da cash first. Thinking it might be a good winter project for the new garage.

Forget engineering. There is a future in selling smokeless ashtrays. I hear you can make millions.

I know college hire EE's ~50K. Some make 80K in about 5 years, some make 129K in 5 years. Depends on how good you are. Work hard, find the right company, get as much experience as you can stand whilst maintaining somewhat of a life and you will find that you can pay off college expenses very quickly.

Good Luck! I was you once. Keep this in mind, knowing someone on the inside to get you in the door for an interview is like 90%. Network, network, network.

I'll do myself in on that note, I know where this post really belongs so spare me, but I felt like I was looking into my past for a split second when I read this post.

:OT:

I admit it.
