05 GT Wheels on a 66?

Title says it all really, I can get a set of '05 GT wheels at a good price, will they fit my '66 V8?

I can't look it up on any of the wheel charts as I don't know the spec of the '05 wheel...

Poo. from Dodgestang's chart that means I'll need something like a three inch spacer to make them fit. I don't like the idea of that.

All the mustang parts places sell wheel adapters just for that reason they run a couple hundred bucks.

Yeah, the difference is pretty huge. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing anything but cruising a show field with that kind of adapter on there.

So what are the specs on the 2005 V6 deluxe wheels, and what spacers are required to get them to fit a '65-'66? I already have a '69 nine inch rear end so I shouldn't need spacers there, but I would like to know if they are as poor a fit up front as the wheels Limey66 specified.

you only need 1.5" spacers to fit either wheel...

2005 VG wheels

I put a set of 2005 Mustang Shelby'esque wheels on my 66, the rear fit no problems with 1.25 inch spacers. The front also used 1.25 inch spacer on my Granada setup. However the stock tire was too big, i went down to a 50 series and it fit like a charm, however i wished i had gone to a 55 series.

OK do the math for me, as I come up with three inches.
