I like my Goodyear GS-D3's, awesome in the rain and in the dry.
Great choice - for us, it was either these or Bridgestone Potenza RE-750s. We ultimately chose the Bridgestones (for both GTs), but neither of these choices is really cheap. You DO, however, get what you pay for. Both of these are great tires, awesome grip wet or dry, great treadlife, low noise, and both are good looking tires...not that tires are supposed to be pretty.
Tire Rack has the Potenza for $163.00 and the GS-D3 for $183.00.
I used their site to help decide what to buy. Check the "Overview" page for these (or any other tires you may be interested in) and you'll see how they are rated (by people who actually bought them). The Bridgestone scored an average of 8.4, while the Goodyear scored 8.6.
