you just took a saleen rear bumper and cut the 99+ air vents in it, correct. I thought about doing that and now that I see it on yours, it looks great.
well it wasnt that simple and i will tell u it was a b%$$h it took over a week to get it right and as for the technical info on my vents are smaller and have a beveled edge on them and the curve at the other edge and have a different screen i just didnt rice it and cut it to look like the 99up i did it like it woul d have been done at the factory i have actually made this bumper a few times for people i am charging $500 plus the cost of the bumper around here it is one of my SRD trademarks
I would have put just as much time into it as well. Its good to see someone that actually takes the time and preperation before creating something. I admire that, if I didn't have a clue on bodywork I'd be interested in buying one, but I think I'll take a stab at it myself first.
just take your time man u can do it but be carful not to cut to long or go to high cause there is a differance in the uretane thickness in the rear valance so be reall careful i am thinking of making some templates and selling them but i havnt decieded yet
I would probably buy one off of you but since I'm thinking of getting the side exits, that bumper really wouldn't fit cause of the mold it has for the tail pipes. If you could cover the tail pipe opening then it would be awesome. Is that doable?
holy crap, that looks sweet! got any more pics at different angles of the entire car? i tried looking on that link to your site, but couldn't find your car.
well i have decied i am going to make some template kits you all contact me if u are interested in purchasing one! PM me or email me at [email protected]
