Bad paint on bumpers

Is anyone having a problem with their paint going bad on their bumpers? Mine kind of looks almost pitted like the clear is going bad. I wonder if it has something to do with them being plastic? I also wonder if there is a way to fix it without repainting. Someone suggested colorsanding.

If you are talking front bumpers, then yes mine sucks as well. I think its the bugs because whenever I get a bug on my bumper, it eats away at the clear and leaves imperfections. I hate it but I can't stop it. Now I have bug marks all over the front bumper.

its that way on the back too but not nearly as bad.

I hear ya, my front bumper sucks a$$. It has all kinds of rock chips, pitting, etc. I guess this is a good excuse to get an 01 cobra bumper.

i have the exact same on my front bumber, some of the chips are accually quite big

Its not a paint chip issue. I have those too. Its more like the clear coat is going bad and pitting/spotting.

Anyone know of a fix besides paint?

I'm glad I hit a coyote and had to have my front bumper replaced. Looks much better.. but the rear looks like it came from Macco's or something.
