N.H.
bought a 5.0 last year, was supposed to be a "low 12's car", took it to the track a few times and never went any better than low 13's.
being real disappointed with this I brought it to several garages around town, they either wouldn't touch it because it was modified or didn't have time.
Well luck must of been on my side this past wednesday at NED, I met Dennis (forgot his last name, sorry) He runs NMRA factory stock and owns Dennys autobody in Maine and recently put in a chassis dyno and offered to help me out with my car.
to make a long story short I got there with 260 rwhp and left with 295rwhp :) , he found alot of thing wrong with my car and corrected them.

Highly recommended, check him out www.dennysautobody.com
Thanks Dennis,
your factory stock car is bad ass !
*I plan on updating the time in my sign this weekend.

I see that your power is about what I had when I was N/A. I ran a 12.7 with 300 rwhp. What did he find wrong with your car and what did he do to fix it? With that kind of power you should be in the 12.5- 13.0 range. I pulled a 1.7 60' with DR's and powershifting. Good luck!!

He adjusted my timming and fuel pressure, my mass air was stock and I have 24# injectors , so he put one on that was for the 24's,adjusted my TPS,adjusted my valves (they were way too tight) .
Going back next week for a cam swap, see if we can get over 300 rwhp.
He also has a bunch of mustangs he's parting out (got a nice hatch from him) if you need any parts.
I'm going to NED wednesday with him to see how it goes now.

Yes Denny does know what hes doing (Dennis Merrow). He was the winner of the WFC in his car running 11.3 on a set of GT-40 heads, stock cam, and cobra intake!

As far as that power, it will go low 12s if your getting it all to the ground. I have 265 rwhp and have been 12.56 on a stock suspensioned street car! Get the car into the 1.6 60's on a set of good tires, and it should go low 12s!
