Down on power (lower rpm's)

I just emailed edge racing converters asking about the mild street converter. When they email back I might ask them if it sounds like my converter is bad. Someone over at tocca said it sounds like engine problems.

Have you ever replaced your o2's mustangless?

I replaced one of them. That was over a year ago. I got an 02 code, or atleast I think I did.

I just emailed edge racing converters, asking them if it sounds like a converter problem. They probably think I am an idiot asking them to solve my problem

got the maf cleaned again, it will now spinout but still feels weak. The fuel pressure is at 31-32. is that bad? can it be hurting performance and gas mileage?

Is that with the vaccum disconneted or connected? I can spin my tires from a stop no problem... Anytime, everytime.

And dont waste your time on the mild street edge. I had it. While it was a great tq and i felt a minor difference, if your going to do it, do it right and get a street edge 2,800-3000.

that was connected. Haynes manual says 30-45, if I am reading that right. I will probably end up getting the street edge, but not right now.

Well guys i was having the same exact problem you guys were until recently because i just changed my Tq Converter and now my car is not only runinng smoother and driving with no problems off the line, it also runs a lot cooler for some reason

where you having the exact problems, including bad gas mileage? I am wanting to get a new tq converter, like a PI multi disc, its just out of my range. I will probably get a street edge, but I want to get a newer 4r70w too. If I knew for a fact that this was the problem I would do it.

Well I used to think this was the problem too, but my engine also runs rich when it runs crappy. Only when its hot. Or the engine heats up. Grr. When its a cool night holy freakin crap the car is a beast.

in your guys' shoes, (if you have the money) get rid of the AODE and put in a T5. my last mustang was a Automatic and i couldnt chirp them either. now i have a t5 and as light of a coupe as is possible and can squeal them thru 1st and 2nd from a dead stop or a roll. once again, i realize it's not free
