Hey all. I need some recommendations. I know this has been talked about before but I was looking for something specific. I have the Torch Red with the red accent package and was going to use red guages to set it all off. Anyone know of a good deck that comes in red or has an option to change the color? Also, do decks look odd compared to stock in the stang?

I have the Alpine CDA-9847 and it is a sweet deck with tons of nice features, and has a nice price to match: $200 or so. Plus, it is iPod ready if that matters to you. It has the option of four colors (red, blue, green, and amber) and at first I didn't think too much of that. But with MyColor on the IUP, it's kinda cool to have them match.

Only issue with the deck looking "odd" is that the factory deck in the 'Stang is a double-height unit. Any aftermarket deck will need to have a pocket installed to fill up the remaining space (and the extra space provided by it, though not much, is still handy).

Awesome thanks. Right now I have the Alpine CDA-9853 and I really don't like the glide touch thing. Its messed up on me already and I've had it for three months. I have a warranty and they said they'd switch it out for any other deck at a comparible price. I do have the iPod hook up and use it ALL the time....so yeah thats important to me.

Have any pictures of your deck in the stang? I'd love to see it.
