ramps for 03 cobra----oil change

well id like to do it myself, and i cant seem to find some ramps that will work, has any of you guys forund some that will work?? if so please let me know

I use the lift at the auto hobby shop to do mine. I do know some guys use a low profile floor jack and jack-stands.

i have the plastic rhino ramps. use it for the lightning cobra and mach1.. works pretty good for me.

or we sometimes take it to the auto craft on fort bliss to get work done, and they have a special bay that you can go under the car, and dump oil into a metal bin. that is way easier

If you are slammed tight, Rhino ramps can still work for you, if you use a 2x10 to move onto before you engage the ramp. Butt the 2x up to the foot of the ramp and then proceed as usual. It should work!

BTW, I got my Rhino ramps from Wal-Mart for about $20.

Do the Rhino ramp mod!

My car isn't lowered but I need use the 2x10's to keep from pushing the Rhino ramps with the air dam, before starting up the ramp. there is a cool mod to attach the 2x10's right to the leading edge of the rhino ramps with 'L'-hooks. That keeps the Rhino ramp from sliding out, if you are working alone. here is the link to the guys how-to, works good.

mustangworld has a how to make some, I believe. I bought a light weight aluminum racing jack from pepboys, and just use jack stands, and my car sits pretty low up front.

I also use Rhino ramps and 2x10's to step to get high enough. If you don't get up a lil' bit your front will not clear the ramps.
