I Need Help Deciding On Tires!

I couldnt agree more. I just got a set of 265/35/18 and 295/35/18 BFGoodrich KDW2 from tirerack.com. So far they're great tires in every aspect. Dry, rain, cornering, straight aways, they're real tough to break loose. I got all four tires for $904, which included the shipping charges. Check out tirerack.com and read the reviews about them. I thought they were the most bang for the buck in the sizes I wanted. 295/35/18 can be hard to come by if youre not willing to spend some money.

i'm looking at this same combo as well. do you have any pics of the tires on your car? just curious as to what the tread pattern looks like mounted. i am debating between these and the t/a kd's. i can save close to $300 by going with the kdw2's...

I am happy with my Toyo's (size and description in signature). Next time I will go 315 out back.

I have always been a firm lover of Nitto's, however when I went to look for the size I wanted in the back, I could not really find anything that was not a Drag Radial. Does Nitto make regular 555ZRs that big that are not DRs?

Let me know, if so I will be switching back.

BFG g-force sport...they were made to compete pricewise with kuhmos and such, but they are AWESOME...i pulled 1.9 60' on these a few weeks ago with stock suspension and 3.73 gears....
:stupid:
g-Force Sports get my vote too! Awesome price for an AWESOME hooking tire, not to mention that they look pretty darned good too!

hey has anyone had much experience with any kuhmo (sp?) tires? I hear they are not so bad for their price!

I had them before I got BFG g-Force Sport tires. Honestly, I believed they sucked. Always fried them (when I had 2.73 gears!) as they didn't hook up very well. Quiet was about all they were good for, not to mention some pretty good burnouts! :D

Get the BFGs if you wanna hook, the Kumhos if you wanna cook! :rlaugh:

Makes me laugh when people say... Kumhos are ass. They have more than one tire.

Kumho 712 are total garbage. Not worth it even at bargain basement price. No traction in wet, dry, cold or even warm. They just suck.

Kumho MX are very good tires. Good Tread life, excellent traction in both dry and wet.

Kumho V710 are one of the ultimate race tires to get right now. In the Autocross world, its between them and Hoosiers. You only get about 90 minutes of hotlapping with them though. :owned:
