Best fitting catted X-pipe for Fox?

Bassani, no doubt.

Get it for a couple of reasons:
A. it's the best quality stuff out there
B. it will last forever
C. comes as a few pieces now, including straight pipes to put in place of the cats should you not want to have the cats on the car.
It's completely adjustable, and the clamping system holds strong

agreed

although mine is a one peice unit, last one they had

Still waiting to get my UPR cat'ed X-pipe, but if it's like everything else I've purchased from them, it'll be quality. I'll be bolting it up as soon as I have a full day off to do my full exhaust, driveshaft, input bearing retainer, input shaft bearing, input shaft, and (if the UPR X-pipe has a fitting for one) my new smog pump tube. It's also the cheapest cat'ed X-pipe I've seen listed, sitting right at $299 ... or 10% cheaper, if you type in "MM7" on the coupon code line. (Good 'till the end of this month, I believe.)

I've heard others say the UPR X-pipe's fitment is easier than, say, a MAC because there's no mounting hooks to struggle with on the tranny side. It comes in two pieces, as well, so that may make it a tad easier ... or not. I'll give details ASAP.

My Bassani is a one piece unit. I absolutely love it. Not cheap, mind you, but worth every penny. Fits like a glove. No leaks. Beautiful welds. That X is a work of art! Get the Bassani and you won't regret it. Oh, and it sounds great too.

Mine is also a one piece SS, but i got it 7-8 years ago. But the new ones aren't. It is especially nice, since they actually give you straight pipes to replace the cats if you choose.

I have the Bassani one piece cat X and its been on the car for 5 years now. It fit great, sounds good, and held up really well over time. The stainless pretty much just discolored a bit, it kinda gold and purple in color, no rust!

Bassani gets my vote cause I have had mine since March of 99 and love it. Cost me $370 shipped to my door from Need For Speed in Fl. Fitment was and is great. I took it off when I did my tranny and it looks as good now as it did new. The clamping system holds strong over time. Oh yes, and the cats, although outnumbered two to one over the stock cats, run cleaner than stock. And I do love the sound especially after I put on the shorty JBA's.
