It depends

I have several and they have different strong points. My personal fav is the 91 vert 5 speed. All the options and a tight little car with good milage.
Also have an 88 hatch 5 speed. Like it but it is a little rattier and better in the rain or weather.
85 coupe with a c-3 that is a cheap beater with an excellent radio and a broken hinge. But it is dependable.
84 GT turbo vert may be a new favorite as soon as I fight my way past the damage done by the previous owner.
Of the choices I have I am currently building a 91 coupe with an 86 turbo coupe motor with a few tweaks to get it around 275 hp. Hoping this may curb my mild power addiction away from the 83 vert 5.0 with its 10 mpg tire burning, exhaust screaming, ticket getting, ricer baiting rush.
My 91 vert with the auto is a nice sedate car that the better half can drive if she wants.
What do you want it for...commuting?..grocery getter?

Nah, the autos come with 3.73's and no clutch to miss a shift with. For a daily driver, I like my 93 LX coupe, auto. For cruisin' I go with my 90 LX hatch 5 spd. For trips, either the 5.0HO Crown Vic or 95 Town Car.

The auto sucks up more power than the t-5... I am almost finished with my swap. I am looking forward to a little more power.
