After being around this, and many other 2005+ Mustang forums, I think that we all can agree that there are a few questions that have been asked so many times, without using the search function, that we are sick of hearing them...so let's list 'em out...

(1) Anyone have a popping sound coming from their suspension?

(2) Will my cold air intake void my warranty?

(3) What mod's will void my warranty?

(4) --insert ANY warranty question here--

(5) My gas tank won't fill up. Does anyone have this problem?

(6) Yo, you need to get wit the realz speed a gets yoself a Honda Civic, yo, becuase I can getz 500 horsepower with NOS, yo, just like in that *****ty a$$ movie, b!thces!

add your own...

People word it in various ways, sometimes with more tack, but it comes down to:

"I am thinking of doing mod "X", but I am afraid it might ruin my Mustang. Could someone else please do the mod first and post pics. If it does come out bad (look bad), I rather it was your Mustang that got ruined, than mine."

Hey, what do you think of these [Rims / tires, or any other MOD]
Will this look cool? Should buy it?:Total-CP:
Look, buy what you want, don't ask us! You like it, BUY IT

You know, sometimes its good to have opinions from other people that share the same interest. Whats the point of these forums then, if you guys get annoyed about most of the questions. Discourages me from wanting to post anything. :notnice:

No, don't feel like that :D I think what is happening here is some things should be searched first then asked.
Hey, this the talk section so ask anything you want.... as long isn't about an LS1 Camaro :rlaugh: :rlaugh:

Is this thread any less useless/annoying than the ones you are bashing? Your point about searching the forum is valid, but have you ever tried to read the "Attempted to get duals today" thread? It is 11+ pages long! Members benefited from reading and posting to that long before I even joined Stangnet, so why shouldn't I ask a direct question and let those members share their wisdom? I do searches and they do not always answer my SPECIFIC question. Also, new members join everyday, some more knowledgeable than others, and people push the limits in their NEW cars everyday. Why should I rely on a 6 month old post when I can ask the same/similar question and get different or more expansive answers? The new Mustang design has drawn a large crowd of "noobs" to these forums. Have patience with us. Thank you for your time. :flag:

i see both sides of the point. you can ask the "revised ?" in an old thread, and still be helped in most cases. a new thread is not necessarily the best way to get answers. people that have responded to the old thread will see this on the icon on the left of the thread title, and can chime in.... but, sometimes a new thread is ok too, just depends on the entire situation...

I dont think this thread is for the question that gets asked 1 or 2 times and maybe the 2nd may be more specific to a certain situation.
crapola
This is for the same question about the same topic looking for the same answer that gets asked 10+ times.
