I was driving home today and I noticed the temp gauge claiming. I got home the temp needle was on the higher side of the gauge but was not in the red. I figured out that it was a loose cooling fan fuse that was causing the cooling fans no to come on. The temp would only rise when I would slow down (air no moving over rad) I hope there was no damage done. What do you guys think? Do you think that I am okay? What would you do?

The resistor that controls the low speed fan is burned out in mine. The part is on backorder so Ford must be having a problem with these. I lowered the temp for the high speed fan until I can get a replacement.

I just had an issue with my radiator, I was driving home the other day and i notice that my temp guage is over the H. My car started bogging out so i had it towed to the dealership. They said i had a bad radiator, so i got a new one put on the next day under warranty. Try making sure you have a good radiator because the dealer said that was a common problem.
