5.4 3v swap update

motor fits, manifold doesn't.

motor is installed with one glitch. drivers side exhaust manifold isn't even close to fitting.

ordered one drivers side 4.6 3v manifold. hopfully it fits. if not ford racing 2v shorty headers will be purchased and modified to fit.

hood closes but cobras head inlet to throttle body is not yet installed.

so at a small cowl hood might be necessary. but it will be close. finally a 5.4 that doesn't require a 6" cowl hood.

manfold issue is the last problem. purchased a 4.6 8 bolt flexplate.

there they are. the motor is bolted in. connections have to wait for manifold from ford. the motor will have to be raised or pulled back out to get it on. at least there is 1/2" of space on the sides.

last possible source is to find a ford australia falcon 3v manifold.

Looks good, Bill. Very tight fit on the driver's side. Where did you get that black lower intake from?
