As mentioned, definitely colder plugs! I ran NGK TR6 (one step colder) with great luck. 653 fwhp in my '97 WS6 383 cid.

I only drove my bird about 1500 miles/year, so I can't vouch for everyday. But I didn't notice any difference in driveability of any kind. In other words...just do it.
