Hay guys I am a member of the classic forum. I have a 66 coupe and my wife has a 2001 V6.

But look at what I just got!
A 95' SVT Cobra convertible with hard top option and it only has 14,000 miles on it. This is so cool it is like getting a new 10 year old car.
It still has the new car smell. It has been garaged and never taken out in the rain. ((I know it sounds like the story you always hear about, the car an old lady had in the barn) I will try to post some pictures of it on my web site this weekend.

I tried to register it with DMV today and could not because of the tented window option that came
with it. They told me I had to have it removed before I could title it. To do this I would have to have the glass replaced. Have you heard of this problem, any suggestions?

How did they know your car has tinted windows? Do you have inspection? I have never had DMV even see any of my cars at registration. I would think they would not be able to have you remove the tint if it came from Ford that way.

if the car was sold like that, with that as an option and sold to the public, then you can still register it no problem.

just be a little more foreful with them.

amazing looking car man!

Awesome find! I also own a 95 convertible/hardtop cobra. I've had it since it had 12,000 miles. I now have 60,000 miles. I drive it alot! I've also done a lot of mods. Mine is #184 of 499, and #621 of 1003. Looks like you have a nice collection!

No, I haven't. I didn't know it was available. I know I usually have to recruit a couple of strong people to take my hardtop off. It is on a stand most of the time under its cover. Are you looking into a way to get your top on and off easier?
