Hey guys, im trying to find a good speedshop in NC around Chapel Hill (no more than an hour away) that has a dyno and a good reputation. My current mechanic is an a--hole and charges way too much for what he does.

true blue performance down in angier, nc is a very good and reputable shop that specializes in mustangs, I highly reccomend them.

EDIT: apparently I didnt see the thread, that true blue is now closed, which sucks majorly, those guys were awesome. There is fastlane motorsports as well, but I never found those guys to be as friendly as true blue.

If you dont want to travel down to charlotte where we are at......Try Haywood Custom Speed. Randy is a great guy and is in Raleigh. Right off of Ext. 291 off I 40. Tell him that Will from MM Performance sent you. Good luck. Here is a link to his website: www.haywoodcustomspeed.com

But I would try him. I was running back in forth this past summer helping him out with the modular program. Good luck and let me know if we can help out any way.

Another Randy Haywood. He tuned my Lightning and Mustang

Carolina Mustang is over priced - IMHO.

I am upset that TrueBlueperformance closed. But I heard that one of the guys from there left and opened a new shop across the street from their old place in Bensen.

Can anyone confirm that?

I'll have to stop by Randy's place since I drive by exit 291 everyday.
