Finally got my K&N intake yesterday, got it installed, took about 35 minutes. The harderst part was getting the stupid rubber thing around the heat shield lol. Notice much better throttle response, that dbw delay is pretty much gone. Feel a lil bit more power around town, but really notice it when im on the freeway or above 4500rpm.

cool! Yeah, i notice that mine really made a difference in the higher RPMs... I think the stock unit's not all that bad until about 4,000...

I just did 2% richer at WOT just to be on the safe side.

Im goin to the track tomorrow night to settle a dispute with a 2001 gt auto lol. He swears he can take me, but we will see.

Well, the MMR claimed "No tune required" We ended up adding like 18% fuel across the board to straighten things out! LOL!

Good luck at the track!!!

Also had a local shop put on a dual flowmaster exhaust. They put on a true dual... I'm not sure if this is what I want... they did the whole thing including awesome chrome tips (after I did the cut on the bumper) for $350. I thought this was a good deal. The pipes sound absolutely fabulous. I can't drive anywhere that doesn't have heads snapping around at that "nasty rumble out of flowmasters" sound. I definitely feel more pull and it sings out the back... now of course I have the loud rumble about 2k to 2300 rpm, but I guess thats what I'm paying for.
