Anyone have any experience with these - ease of install, custom mod/fabrication need to be done? It says bolt on - but nothing is lol -

I want to know if they will help my traction even with regular street radials - or will it make no difference until I use Drag Radials...

I have seen rearends with the brackets ripped off by liftbars. You should see increased traction even with street tires. Torque box reinforcemnts are required and I wholeheartedly recommend have the rearend brackets reinforced or at least welded up tight.

I looked at them before I got my Steedas. They weren't worth the trouble for me.

I have them. You can use the brackets that lower the mounting points or you can just use them as regular control arms. I've had no problems with them and the install was every bit as easy as any other control arms that i''ve installed. As for traction my car is weak and an auto. I ran a 9.54 in the 1/8th and it never spun even off the line. I likem and they were cheap

Buddy o' mine has a pair of Southside Machine lift bars on his '90 notch. They aren't the best for cornering at all, but in a straight line, that thing is a beast. Definitely aids in traction, but only as far as your tires will allow - he went from having almost too much traction (would almost bog off the line) to practically spinning on grease when he switched out his Mickey Thompsons on 15" Weld rims in favor of some Dunlops on 17" Cobra rims. No sidewall flex and harder rubber = SCREEEEEEEEEEEE off the line.

Wheel hop will pretty much become a thing of the past, for certain. Lift bars are kinda overkill, though, unless you're running a dedicated track beast ... and even then, a good set of LCA's will do just great without sacrificing cornering ability or possibly tearing up other things.

ive got them and dont have any problems with them at all. i used to be able to rev the motor up and dump the clutch and the tires would break loose for a split second and than grab. i like them alot
