C&L Intake

To all who are interested I just read this on another mustang forum:

"Just got off the phone with C&L. They are now production complete with the new V6 CAI. It matches the GT version that has proven to be very popular. Today they used a V6 Automatic and their new V6 CAI on the Dyno. They posted a minimum gain of 12RWHP. They are building their web page to show the pics of the car, the pics of the CAI installed, and the actual dyno run sheets. The web will be ready by end of next week. You can call C&L and order the CAI now.

They also will have a package CAI and Predator tuner. The CAI WILL require a tune and C&L swears by the Predator as the best available. I spoke with them at length in relation to the Xcal2 and they believe the predator has more to offer. It will come with 4 performance tunes.

CAI alone will be $299. CAI and Predator will be $649.

Your call on predator verses the Xcal2. I talked with Alternative Auto and they will be purchasing the V6 CAI fro C&L and developing the new tune for the xcal2 next week. Not sure what the pricing will be for the C&L and Xcal2 from Lidio."

12rwhp with the tune? That doesnt seem "super" or anything but definately nice. afe sees 12rwhp without a tune, and its not even a complete intake. Im hoping lidio can get 18 out of it at least (with a tune)

ok... I was surprised when I read that Lidio was going to have a C&L and tune next week... I read it on that other forum on Friday... So I asked him yesterday.... he has no idea how anyone came up with that... I should probably post this on the other forum too... LOL

I've got my order in... they should be shipping the first production units next week. Doug over at Bamachips is also working on SCT tunes this weekend... ordered an X-cal II from him and he'll ship once the tunes are ready.
