Hell
First I know this post is worthless without pics, but I moved and I cant find the cable to download pics from my cam. Pics will be forthcoming.

Im sure someone will remind me anyway.

I installed my GT bumpers and exhaust. I had the bright GT rims already. I ran into a guy here in town who shaved all his emblems so I got those for free and installed them too.

Unless you are a Mustanger and know better you cant tell its not a GT.

Congrats, I think the GT bumpers/wheels conversion is a cool way to go. :nice:

However, don't expect props on the GT badges. You will probably get a lot of not so positive comments from both V6 and GT owners. For me, I have no intention of pretending my car is a GT, which is why i have the V6 badges all over it. Not my cup of tea... :notnice:

But, opinions aside, if you like the ride that is all that matters.

My dual exhaust with GT take offs already spark questions. LOL.

I have no GT parts on my car... single exhaust... And I would bet 99.9% of the people at the car shows thought my car was a V8/GT... Once in a while some one would point out that it was a V6... but a majority of the time I would have to point out to people my car only has 6 cylinders!

You know, it's funny. My last car was a '92 Mustang 5.0 and everyone was always surprised when I told them it had a V8. With my new car, everyone is surprised it doesn't have a V8.

this makes me so sad, to think you feel so insecure about owning a v6 so much so that you had to put a gt badge on your mustang is pathetic. And dont consider this a personal attack but please, be proud of your v6, my dad has a v6 and any gt owner who disses the v6 is ignorant. any v6 owner who puts gt badges on their v6 is well i cant even find the word for it. its just absurd. be proud of your mustang for what it is, and dont make it try to be something its not. i mean i have driven both, quite a bit, my gt is comming in the next couple months. and i would not want to insult any v6 owner. so my question is why? why do you feel such a need to make your car something its not?

Well said, I was proud of my 95 5.0 LX and I am proud of my 6. Either way it is a mustang!!!
