Which Upper/lower control arms are good.

i've been looking at the steeda and Pro3i jacker LCAs. does the adjustable spring seat compensate for having lowering springs? i mean at the track, would raising them help with weight transfer, or would it still be sub-par compared to the stock springs?
The spring rate of what spring you have won't change by having the height changed

Lowering springs usually have a harder rate, due to weight transfer for taking turns. In drag racing you need a soft spring for i don't know, i have no idea about drag setups :D

Steeda adjustable uppers and HPM mega bite jr's for lowers
Dude, I remember seeing pics of ur car in another post here...its BANGIN! I love black mustangs, one of the best colors when its clean and all. Anyway, u r right cant go wrong with steeda, MM, metco, or wolfe racing. Oh yeah, Im KBing my car pretty soon though I do like Procharged stangs too. :nice:

i've got some Steedas ready to go in. i chose them because i've only heard good things about them.

yeah,, that's why i bought stedda ones too, from a guy on here who is a steeda dealer, Stangpro I think. Anyways, they are great items, the lowers come with all new bushes but the uppers require you to drill out the old rubber from the axle top mount, not steedas fault but thats what you gotta do to replace that rubber.... and the uppers are a PITA to fit.. but i felt a good difference..

MM makes a tool for that, makes it easy to take out

got the Steeda aluminum uppers (non-adjustable) and the Steeda weightjackers, and I'm pleased...they seem to be quality pieces

if you go with the weightjackers...don't forget to put locktight on the big nut that snugs up the adjuster...I just about lost one...we had her up on the hoist about 1500kms after install and the sucker had almost spun off the thread:nice:

edit: how did I become a "founding member"???

Steeda's here and no complaints... Start with the Steeda lowers first becuase they are very easy to change out. If you feel you need the rear end to be planted more then step up to the uppers but beware the uppers are a PITA and I would recommend a shop to install them for you.
I have the BBK Gripp w/cross brace subframes braces and I thought the metal was very soft...so I would not recommend the BBK subframes.

Hey guys. I have Lakewood LCA's on my car, would you guys say that those are a good set to buy? I have 18x9's out back with 275/35/18's and i guess since the car is lowered and sagging even more cuz Eibach Sportlines SUCK, i still can't manage to get traction most of the time in first and a bit through second.:Teh-Win:

You're also running to thin of a sidewall (35) there's no flex for grip in a straightline, if you can try to get a spring compressor and see what the rate is for the rear springs

I have Eibach Sportlines and they are sagging in the back so im guessing thats killing my traction due to the HORRIBLE weight transfer
