Seafoam, How Does It Work?

what exactly does it do? Is it good to run it frequently, or on new engines?

Woo hoo a new Seafoam thread!

SeaFoam can be used in 3 ways:
-add 1 can to full tank of gas to clean injectors
-add 1/2 can to oil 100-200 miles prior to oil change to clean out crankcase
-suck 1/2 can into intake to clean out intake and plenums

You can also use SeaFoam to detect exhaust leaks because when you suck it into the intake it will smoke like crazy

Use it every time you change you oil.

As for how it works, I am pretty sure it is magic
