Low Oil Level Sensor

My oil level sensor in the side of the pan on my 5.0 is leaking and i wanted to pull it out to fix it... does anyone know if that pig tail that comes off of it unplugs from the sensor, it seems like its in there good and i dont want to break it off trying to get it out...thanks

Yes there is a connector, probably coated in oil if its leaking, there a little tab to push down and pull it off.

The harness unplugs from the sensor .There is a metal clip that holds the plug in . You should be able to pry it loose with a pic or pocket screw driver .
