are you sure someone didnt accidently put a turbo on your car LOL

didnt you recently install a intake and TB maybe a vacuum line came loose under the intake.

did you notice a power loss when you heared this noise or an erratic idle.

what brand Throttle body do you have? i though i read some aftermarket TB's produce a whistling sound.

I LOOKED ALL OVER TO SEE IF I CAN FIND THE TURBO BUT NO LUCK.Not my lucky day. But seriously, its a Professional Products Power. No loss power really but maybe thats a reason im getting the weird idleing. and the sucking is coming from under the intake.

Main Entry: cul·prit
Pronunciation: 'k&l-pr&t, -"prit
Function: noun
Etymology: Anglo-French cul. (abbreviation of culpable guilty) + prest, prit ready (i·e., to prove it), from Latin praestus -- more at PRESTO
1 : one accused of or charged with a crime
2 : one guilty of a crime or a fault
3 : the source or cause of a problem

What you want to do is spray carb cleaner around your intake and TB... if your RPMs increase after you do this then you have a vacuum leak at that point.

My FMS 65mm TB whistled like crazy after I installed it on my stock intake. After I put it on my street heat the whistling was gone. Take that as you will.

You could try spraying around the intake with starting fluid, then pay attention and your rpm will go up when the fluid is pulled into the leak-you will know the general area of the leak then. Be careful with this -it should be done with a helper holding a fire extinguisher just in case.

My car started making that noise when I installed the cold air intake . If the RPM changes when you spray it with the carb cleaner you might have torn the gasket . If you only replace the upper intake you may have a small piece of the old gasket stuck to the lower intake creating an uneven seal between them .

all new gaskets. no whole in the t/b. and i the pcv hose was ripped and not corrctl put on thus making the sucking noise. now im just waiting a couple of minutes cuz i diconnected the battery, so i could relearn, or whatever it does.

I dont know what you said, but it was something about a PCV hose being off, I think. That will do it. :D

Good luck.

dam there were a couple of lines ripped. this is what i get for not changing them when it was easier. the one thats ripped is under the upper and its a pain
