also waiting for ps3 since my 2 is giving me probs. hear the x360 is also problematic; just like when the first box was introduced. people are paying insane amounts of money to get one fully hook'd up. not sure if any console is worth it.

Yeap same here PS3 ! I heard the xbox's where garbage and the attorney general or someone like that has a law suit on microsoft cause they put the system out knowing it had defects, . So i would just wait and stick it out and get the PS3 or wait till next year and pay $200 instead of the insane prices they want for the xbox now . Unless you really have to have one i did see one go for $2500.00 on the net. Dont get tho peace

Me and my son both bought 360s. Mine never made it out of the box. As soon as I found out they were bringing stupid money on Ebay and that they wont have any games that really use what the console is capable of for awhile on Ebay it went. Did check out my sons 360a little bit though and it does have some cool things about it.
You can load Windows Media files, screen savers, music files, and pics right to it with either a cable or jump drive. It keeps track of the games youve played and such. It is kinda cool. However I was kinda pissed that you need updates to run most of the old Xbox games and you cant even get those updates yet.
Anyway my son saw how much mine went for on Ebay and he decided to slap his on there too so that about all I can tell you about it.

Got one for under MSRP without a prior order down in Palm Springs. Walked in, bought the whole thing, left, no problems.

Definitely worth it. Definitely. No problems or reliability issues, either.

I played it at fries electronics in wilsonville. It was pretty cool. But I was comparing call of duty 2 on xbox 360 vs PC. And PC does have btter graphics and more texture.
Well of course that all depends on your video card. If you get a crap computer the xbox will spank you.

Well, I was never planning on buying one, (since I cant live without GT... I am a PS person too). I was just wondering if Microsoft was going to get their act together this time around or not.... sounds like more of their same old crap.

Hope it drives their stock price down (i will buy that...!)

in my opinion i will never have the best car.

for me there will always be a car that is better than what i have.

in this case i think that the vw's will suit me just fine.

My sons so called uncle bought four PS2's when they first came out and sold them all for $1200.00 on ebay

Ive been putting cash on a EB gift card to save up for the PS3...then I found out it probably wont hit stores till NEXT holliday season...I dont know if I have that kind of patients
