anyone have pics of a 67/68 with the eleanore LOWER apron only?

I had looked into doing that but was informed by Mustang Depot that it wouldn't fit by itself - you have to get the Shelby headlight buckets and hood. You can probably make it work without it but be prepared to pay big $$$ to get it to fit.

I sectioned about 1 1/2 inches out of valance as I am using chrome bumper. I removed the license plate cut out on the bumper and am having it rechromed. I removed the wheel flares from the Eleanor valance (it lined up perfect), cut 6 inches or so off bottom of front fenders, welded flat stock to the fenders to attach (bolt) the valance on, removed the center light cut outs and relocated the fog lights to stock Stang running light location. Lots of metal and glass work, but definitely not tough to do. I also used Rebel stuff. Tell Steve I said hello. My site has more pics (on the 67) at mikesmustangs.net.

if you're not skeered of a lil fiberglass work it should be time consuming, but pretty simple. It attaches / bolts up to the front of the fenders just like the factory front valence.

but are you selling the car ?
nope, no way I'm selling my 68....I'm keeping this baby until the day I die.

How is your coupe project coming along?

If your not set on using the bumper, take a look at the Cobra Automotive front end setup. They have a bunch of pics on their site, of it mounted. Mine fit super nice. I will have to do a very small amount of sanding at the lower edges that meet the fenders but that is less than a 1/16th. I could most likely make it work with a little flex on the metal, but I am not willing to mess with the original tooling (brand new) metal, so I will sand and re-gel.

Honestly I would like to see the lower section more vertical, like the E chin piece, but I can approach that remodel effort at a later date.

Didn't think I saw my old hood anywhere on your ebay ad. Your 68 is yellow ??

my car progress is piss poor thanks to the stock vinyl roof, and roof rust, and It's now beginning to irritate the hell out of me. Gotta get it going ASAP. You'll see my oooooolllllllllld thread brought back from the dead.

I finally plan on using your hood on this one!

wow ! that's awesome good luck with that car.

You want any pics of the E lower valence ? Mine is all painted, and just sitting in my study waiting on the car. I also had to add some fiberglass here and there as is to get it to work even with the E upper nose so it would line up, and sit right.
