SLP sucks, Bassani sucks, magnaflow sucks, magnapacks suck, MAC sucks, flowmasters suck, spintech sucks, Borla sucks, BBK sucks, FRPP sucks, Hooker sucks, JBA sucks, in fact every system sounds like complete crap except apex motorsports 7" cherry bomb mufflers.

Wow! Have you tried each one of those?

There are some decent products in that list you are slamming. :)

Poll Starter:
I have heard many SLP combos, and with the exception of the Loudmouth II, many of them seem quite loud and untamed. That sound is for some--not for me, however, so don't just take my word for it. :)

I voted Bassani in this poll.

If you get the LMI's you absolutely have to run cats with whatever mid-pipe you get. i know because i've had 5 different SLP set-ups, and the LMI's with o/r pipes sounds like ass. the cats make a huge difference.

the best overall combo of sound + tone has been the LMIIs with an o/r X.

if you have to be the guy with the loudest exhaust, get the LMI's. if you want LOUD with a good tone, ante up the $$$ and get some Borla Stingers. Packs are ok too, but they're no louder than the LMII's (yes ive heard them in person) and i've never been a big fan of them, but thats just my opinion. the stingers are a bit louder than the packs and LMII's.

:stupid: QFMFT!! this man knows what he's talkin about :D

ummmmmmm... No J/K the man does now his SLP stuff though :nice:
as many SLP combo's i've been through i consider myself an expert in SLP studies. at least i finally found what i wanted.

last time, if its between the LMI's and Bassani, get Bassani.

if its between the Is, II's and Bassani, get the II's.

lol that's funny but yeah to the thread starter listen to this guy he knows what he is talking about when it comes to SLP ... i myself have bassani and love it so i would say Bassani :nice:

ive had the bassani x with bassani catback on a 98gt.. LOVED IT. now i have a mach, ive had slp cb with stock h, liked it, wanted louder, got the x pipe and loved how loud but hate the tone.. now im runnin slp cb and x with no cats... VERY loud, but VERY GROSS sounding.. switchin to flow weld ins in a day or 2.. if that dont do it then im going bassani cb! i know i wont be disapointed there! btw.. ide rather have the slow-ness of the 98 with bassani at times over the speed of the mach and my last 2 slp setups

you should've tried the II's, especially on a Mach. The I's sound like ass on ANY off-road mid-pipe. II's w/ SLP off-road X is the best combo of SLP exhaust products on a stang, Period.

i dont think the flows will sound too good with an o/r x, but theres only one way to find out.
