Yet another fake being misrepresented as the real thing & by a dealer no less:

I particularly like all of the typical weasel words/phrases this dealer utilizes to absolve themselves of any responsibility should their fraudulent listing be exposed, such as "this car seems to be a Saleen special edition" or "we know nothing about a car like this" & other such drivel. :bs:

A legitimate dealer would verify if it was or was not a Saleen before advertising it as such, particularly when distinguishing one isn't all that difficult. In the case of this one it's pretty damn easy to identify it as an obvious fake; phony bumper number, incomplete graphics, incorrect wheels, missing underhood & dash serialization plaques, etc. crapola

Yeah car #200 in 98 should have had the chrome wheels, twin guage pod, and the front brake upgrade which it didnt have any of these! Somebody that doesn't know a whole lot about Saleens might be thinking he is getting a "real one".

It is kinda flattering that the car is replicated though! Yeah, it's a shame for the nimrod that comes along and buys that car to find out otherwise, but on the other hand it speaks volumes that people want to duplicate what Steve Saleen has done with these cars...
