40th Anniv 40th Anniversary Stangers...

I dont care for the tan stripe on the 40th "special" anyway so I'm good with my plain 40th in crimson red w/wing thanks, Mach 1000, and grey leather.

Someone wanted pic's so I'm game anytime someone wants a look at my Stang...

Yeah I have a 04 sonic blue Gt. I would like to hear why they aren't 40th "special edition" cars. Mine has almost everything, the interior upgrade package the mach 1000, leather, obviouslyly the badges......so what is it that makes the sonic blue car NOT a special edition car??

A few unique badges and some stripes is all you're missing. Sonic Blue beats any of the 40th Special Edition colors hands down, in my opinion of course.

Yes we all own "40th" Mustangs because the badge commemerates this. Just like the 99's. However, there were a number of "official" 40th anniversary package mustangs made especially for the 40th anniversary. Hope that clears this up..

my 40th...

Besides the obvious stripe kit and no rear spoiler.

BTW SONIC BLUE is awesome...

o4 Mustang

I also have an 04 Mustang GT Conv. Competition Orange. Purchased new it is an Automatic with no performance mods. My intention is to do very few performance mods. and keep the car basically stock. I have installed a light bar and will be installing a two peice solid speedster toneau cover. The car is in storage for the winter and in two years we have only put 8000 miles on it. The car took first place in the 1999 - 2004 stock catagory at Carlisle PA All Fords show, mostly because of the colour. I have attempted to get th eproduction numbers for how many Competition orange Gt were built but Ford is denying they have any such records. All I know is it is unusual.

ok everyone this is the deal.... NOT EVERYONE THAT OWNS A 2004 MUSTANG HAS A 40th anv. first off if its not CRIMSON RED/ WHITE / BLACK then you do not have the special edition package.
now if you have a crimson red 04 you do have a 40th anv. mustang
if you have a black or white stang you need to look for some other 40th anv. features ie. gold racing stripes/side view mirrors that fold (like a cobra)/ rims that have a gold tint/ 40th anv. badge right in front of shifter/spoiler delete (sometime... I have a spoiler)/ 40th anv floor mats
now FYI everyone has the 40th anv. badge on the side of your car that does not mean it is a 40th anv. edition mustang.
