Well my 2nd and 3rd gear synchros are really starting to go now so I guess I"m going to need to rebuild it, any suggestions for some better parts to put in with the rebuild?

Sick96Stang said:I wish I did I would go with a TKO 600 or T-56 if I did have the money.

Sick96Stang said:Good sites I didn't really see anything about upgrading the T-45 at all though. The first two sites I coulnd't really find anything about the T-45 at all, the second site I saw they had a rebuild kit they were selling but couldn't find any information about better parts to put in there, the last one I just saw a guy saying that he could rebuild them but again no real discussion about what are some better parts to put in the T-45 to make it stronger.

The reason you don't see a huge aftermarket for rebuilding t45's is that most people upgrade. You may have trouble finding what you need.
Sick96Stang said:I'm guessing I could get the T-45 rebuilt for around $500-$700, how much would a good transmission cost me?
Sick96Stang said:I'm only planning on having this car make around 300 rwhp N/A can a rebuilt T-45 or 3650 handle that much power for a good while?
