Tungsten Grey:yay or nay?

I didn't realize how purple it looked until I saw it the second time at a different dealership under cloudy conditions. I sorta liked it at first but didn't when the purple in it came out. So, I went with yellow instead!

I was really debating between the new blue and the new tungsten grey when I bought my car. I went to my dealer and they had a GT in the blue and a V6 in the grey. At first I was leaning towards the blue, but it seems like it's to common now. I wanted something a little different so I went with the grey. Yes, it definately does have the purple undertones, but it still reflects other colors around it nicely. After seeing the car in my garage for a few weeks, I must say the color has grown on me. I am, however, disappointed with the quality of the paint from the factory: can we say wet sand and buff?

I agree. I see some orange peel in mine, which is pretty normal for Ford... but I found a run on my rear driver's quarter panel right on my fender lip. I can't decide if I should take it to the dealer or just try to wet sand it out myself. Since it's on the 1/4 panel, I'm afraid the dealer won't be able to blend it in and will do a worse job than is on it now. My friend is real good with paint/buffing so I think I'm going to let him doctor it up.
