Flowmasters + MustangTuning X pipe.

I had the same combo as streetstang on my last car. Don't listen to the people who automatically say flowmasters and x-pipes don't mix. The car sounded amazing. Wasn't raspy at all and not too much drone. It turned heads and I got nothing but compliments from other mustang guys along with just regular non-mustang people. You won't regret it, the Mustang tuning x-pipe is a great buy for the price. :nice:

I had a mac o/r h on my auto 04 GT w/2 chamber flowmasters, and I ended up pulling it off and throwing the stock h-pipe back for the same reason. Well, that and the drone at 2k. On the interstate, doing 70 mph, the car tachs right at 2,200 rpms, right in the heart of the drone. With the 2 chamber flows, that mac pipe was loud. It'd give you a headache riding for any length time in it.

I gotta get my hands on some mufflers that don't have any drone to them. Anybody have any suggestions?

I just switched from Flows to Bassani.....No more drone!

Thanks for all the opinions...any comments on how much hp I might see?

Also, about what 1/4 times would I be looking at. I havnt been to a track yet, and im curious. I know this could be considered "internet racing" but I just want an aproximate.

What would the 1/4 times be with the addition of 4.10s?

That is important unknown variable that leaves me unable to answer that question, but theoretically you should be able to shave .5 at least.

hey does anyone know if you need mil eliminators for the catted mustang tuning x pipe? my friend was looking into getting one.
Well its pretty much the exact same x-pipe as the UPR X-Pipe, so if you didn't need the MIL Eliminators, then he won't either
