I noticed on mustangtuning and ford racing parts they now have slotted and drilled rotors. has anyone had experience with these, are they any good? i can't do the bullit/cobra upgrade because it will not clear my winter wheels .
john_324 said:They're cool for normal street use, but if you plan on auto-xing or open-tracking, do not get them...they have the potential to crack under the high heat generated from aggressive braking (somewhat likely at an auto-cross event, definitely likely at a track day).

When I got my brake kit (not FRPP) I was told to go with the drilled/slotted since I plan to do some open track and auto-x this year. Will help keep the rotor cool. silver cadmium plated too. I havent had them much more than a month but did a li'l auto-x test and love 'em.
