8" rears are dirt cheap and quite reliable for mild driving up to ~375 fwhp.

Regarding the front power discs there are many options, can you give more insight into your budget and expectations?

I'm in the middle of adding 1973 Mustang front disc brakes and ultrastang's Lincoln Mark VII rear disc brakes to my 1969 fastback. Mustangsteve's Cobra front kit looks very nice. I wish it came out before I began collecting parts for my swap:(

I used the Master Power Brakes kit

on my 70 coupe and love it.

It was a bit spendy and I have to run a vac can because of the cam I'm running but it stops almost as fast as it starts :rlaugh:

Power Disc Brakes

I also bought the MPB kit for my '67. Haven't installed it yet but it looks to be a complete kit and pretty straightforward install. It ended up being about $900 and included rotors, 4-piston calipers, hoses, vac booster, MC, combo valve, attaching brackets and hardware. I'm sure it will be quite an improvement over my 4-wheel, non-power drum setup.

once I get $500 I was going to invest it in a granada brake set up with slotted rotors for better braking. Heres the site.

that price is going to be hard to beat and I know degins has put a lot of work into getting that kit together.

the only thing i would like to see different is the use of stock 68-73 style caliper brackets and calipers so the kit would be more OEm style but this is still a great deal for a disc swap.

i have a 69-70 disc setup if you are interested in... Needs to be cleaned up, rotors may be able to get turned, but its complete minus brake lines. Also have a brand new master cyl for it. Let me know if you are interested, was gonna use it on my 69 but I have a MII suspension layin around im gonna use
