overhaulin foose

I wouldn't sell the car either had I been chosen. The show should have some restrictions. A true Mustang fan who bleeds Ford blue would not sell that car. These people were not deserving.
There are many, many good people out there who would appreciate what was done and not whine, complain or try to make a complete buck.
When all is said and done, for many people their God is money.
What a shame.

No one's measuring worth by the type of transmission. We're measuring how much appreciation the person has for a muscle car. Like I said, it was a generalization, but it's a fair generalization. I'm sure there's people driving automatics that love their stangs just as much as anyone else, but if you're trying to choose someone to put on Overhauling who is into cars (and you don't have much to go on) there's a better chance statistically of finding a "car guy or girl" by picking someone driving a stick. You can argue with that all you want, but automatic just isn't the same as driving a muscle car with a stick. So you can call me an idiot if you want, but you're in denial if you think driving an automatic is just as fun as driving a stick.

WOW and maybe we should throw in that she appeared to be mexican. And a woman. And we all know they can't enjoy their cars(Yes I am being sarcastic.). Maybe you should talk to the people who enjoy drag racing. I know many that are seriously into drag racing run automatics. Maybe you can't can't have as much fun driving an automatic. But I have every bit as much fun. Driving my audi as I do driving my cobra.

even though it is a beautiful car, i would never give that guy 50 grand for it. the car is priceless and he doesnt deserve it but he also doesnt deserve the money. watched it again tonight and i notice more everytime i watch the episode.

I heard she had to sell it to pay for her husband's out of control need to wax his eyebrows!! If you saw the show you know what I mean :) What an as s! My only hope is that they kept the fair value of the car ($25K) and gave the other $26K to charity in the names of the guys that built the thing....yeah right.
