I see that the OLD Stangs are still a bit unpriced. There were many,
I am sure in the next few years the prices will be a bit higher.
Cannot beleave yea can get a 1969 Mach 1 at $30,000

The Vetts are still abit up there in price..

And Still the Mopars are the Cars to have......
A Mopar Clone Hemi selling at over $100,000,,,,,Greattttt and hope that they will still go up......Those are great investments...

I thought this year that the Stangs will be up there in Price but I am afraid I was wrong....
Maybe in 5 years the prices of the Stangs will be where they should be.And maybe this is the time to pickup a few Clasics Stangs..... JT

I don't know what you were watching, but the Stangs I saw were OVER-priced. The fantasy auction powder blue fastback didn't even have a complete detail. The Mach only had a 351. The yellow Boss was the only car that I thought warranted the money it brought.
Barrett-Jackson has gotten to be a place for rich people to go show off how rich (or stupid) they are. Too many times I see a car that is sold way above market price because someone got in a bidding war. Then EVERYONE that has that type of car thinks thiers is worth extravagant money.
Hell, even the announcers were saying that the Hemi powered GTX clone was a joke compared to the REAL one that sold for less money two lots later. I guess the red paint is worth $30K.....:notnice:

I did not like the Blue fastback,,What did that go for $23,000? near the end they had a blue 69 mach1 that sold for $30,000 ,from what i seen it looked sharp.....Next few years the stangs will be up there in price..

Did yall see that 66 black shelby GT350 R go for 167,500. It started at 110k.

Yes, this was a GT 350 H. This is an example of what I was referring to. The car was nice, but not a perfect restoration by any means. First off, it was an automatic (read...less desirable), it had drag radials on it, and side exhaust.
Anywhere other than B-J and you'd be lucky to get $50k for that car. BJ is going to ruin the collector car hobby as we know it. Everything is either going to be in someone's auto collection or some deler is going to throw a bunch of crap on the car (look at all the poorley executed Shelby clones) and expect the car to be worth six figures. The weekend car show is going to fade into oblivion.....or worse, I'l be staring at 20 different neon shades of Honda Civic at the car show in twenty years. :nonono:

Really don't think yea know what you are talking about......
When I was 18 I could not aford a Mopar,,,,,But now I have a few..Why not buy as many now if you have the money screw the hobby, unless you should get a real job and maybe you can get one without crying
Glad that the 1969 1/2 superbee went for around $160,000.That means mine should be around $100,000 if not more..That superbee had undercoating and mine does not.....
If you see the pic of my 1970 Hemi Challenger i would think thats worth over $300,000,,,I am sitting on it at keeping it in my warehouse lol...Only 2 that where ever made{Cannot say why on this site}
And my 1970 Superbird 440 sixpack should bring $200,000,,,,Did yea see what the 1970 Roadrunnder went for????JT

Wow...are you trying to set a record for "Most obnoxious w/the least amount of posts"? :nonono:

Your attitude ("screw the hobby") is exactly what I was referring to. Not to mention that you think that your cars are worth what the cars that sold at BJ were sold for. Even the commentators on Speed continually make the comment that the value of the cars are not realisticly portrayed at B-J, but when you combine high demand with rare supply, strange things happen. In other words, those cars are only worth that much, at that venue, at that given time.
I'm not a Mopar guy, but I'd love to own any of the cars you say you have. I'm not sure why you've decided to personalize my comments and attack me.
If you knew anything about me you'd probably not take the shots you are trying to take.:nono:

No such thing as a 66 GT350 R

GT350 H is the likely suspect. especially if it was black with the gold stripes

OK I made a mistake about the car on the auction was an H for hertz BUT
DUDE LETs MAKE NO MISTAKES as to a 66 GT350 R. In that year there was produced limited numbr of R's for which stand for Racing. The difference is the front fiberglas valance which had a larger opening for air to cool em.
Qouted from The Complete Story Mustang book Page 127 :D

I think Tyler meant that the R models didn't actually have an "R" on the rocker panel after the GT350 like the "H" (Hertz) did.

No i am not insulting you............
I know I can get Top Dollar for my cars,But i would not sell any.....I have a few people interested in a few of my cars but they are lazy in coming to where I live.{I think they were holding off and see if the prices went up at the auction}Well they have and my cars are not for sale.........
Funny thing someone told me at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus a few years ago.
He said that there are many people that can afford cars up till $25,000 and less people that can afford $35,000.....
But then there are that few can afford the money cars.....
4 years ago my 1970 Superbird 6pack went for $55,000 with 35,000 miles on it...Now its worth over $150,000 and maybe $200,00...
What a investment huhhhhh.........JT

In NYC only way to handle your Clients are using Slang words.Yeaaaa, yoooooo,,,screw yeaaaaa.
I guess in the South yea all say You All,Watch where you step on them cow chips......
To me I ratter be a northern with our Slangssssss.
Losers don't own expensive autos, only winners own Mopars.Hey let the american car company go out of business,Classic cars are where its at.Where yea Freaking think they get most of the Steel from idiot,China Steel thats where we get most of our steel from China and thank god Bethlehem steel went out of business with their high prices.Just like Ford and GM will be out of business with their high labor cost.JT
