Eibach Pro-System Kit

I have the pro-kit springs and shocks.. no sway bars... here's a picture of my ride height... The car actually rides much better... less body roll, less squat, and even takes the bumps in the road better... Then again, I am comparing it to 9 year old stock shocks!

lookin good!

I would not buy the kit. swaybars are not nessesary. there are better springs I think. search for threads about sagging eibach springs. then search for thread about sagging h&r springs. you will find more people complaining about the eibachs.

I mean everbody gives a thumbs up to what they have. I did not buy eibach based on the number of people posting long term issues with there stuff.

for the money of that kit you could buy a better setup.

every mustang needs subframes and LCA's to handle well at minimum. with the kind of money that system cost you could have those.

shocks and struts make it handle better but your car will still handle poorly without something to reduce flex and locate the rear axel better.

for the money of that eibach system you could piece together a kit that would outhandle it going away with just as good if not better street manners.

Well I already made the decision and ordered the kit.

Like what...

Mr. GT 02,

The Eibach pro-kit springs are ideal for somebody who drives their car everyday. It lowers your center of gravity and reduces body roll. It reduces squat when accelerating and the nosedive when braking. It improves the handling and reduces that unwanted fender gap. They are progressive rate springs. Eibach springs are also guaranteed not to sag or settle. They are under a million mile warranty. You can also find competitive prices through online distributors.

An aftermarket shock would be the next step for further controlled ride quality.

And finally sway bars further reduce body roll.

I'm glad you decided on Eibach.

well there a million ways to do suspention. people like different brands etc.

springs, shocks, subframes, LCA's (good design most like likely mixed bearing)

will outhandle the pro-system.

you could do ford springs, h&r, tokico makes sytems. shocks an struts there are mach 1 tockico's, tokico hp's, kyb.

then you on lower control arms you could do, MM, pro 3i, etc

subframes should be full length welded there are tons of different variations.

bottom line is springs, shocks, struts, and swaybars alone will not handle all that great. It will help but my car was still very loose in the rear at this point. I bougth bilsteins, h&r, MM CC plates so I had pretty high dollar stuff at this point. Once I did the LCA and subframes it was a huge step up again in handling.

I would bet that before I did the subs and LCA someone with cheaper parts but with the rear end issues fixed would have drove right around me.

it is not a bad product don't get me worng I just think some of the money is better spend eslewhere.

you add some suframes and some product to help the rear axle location and the car will handle awesome.

everybody just seem to dismiss some of the other products as gimicks or not needed for a street car. I kind of disagree. I mean my camaro came stock with panhard rod. so does the 05+ stang. they finally pulled there head out.

There hasn't been one complaint about the Pro Kit sagging from what I've read and heard, but there are a lot of complaints about the Sportline... They are two different types of springs... Pro kit is progressive rate, when the Sportlines are one rate...

yeah that is why I did mine is pieces as well. yeah make the control arms and subs a priority.

I got the springs and stuff one christmas and did the subs and control arms the next chirstmas. It made such a difference I just kicked myself for waiting.
