Ok first of all let me say that I have totally given up on ever getting any type of a blower. It always seems that when I get some money saved something comes up thats more important so short of taking out a personal loan I might as well forget it.
With that all being said I would like to get VT stage 2 cams but, wait time for them is over a month so thier out as well since I cant seem to hold money that long.

What do you surggest for cams that are either off the shelve or in stock that are comprable to Vt's stage 2's?
Im going to get a accufab 75mm TB/P combo, 373's and cams/springs done in all one shot.
Cams HAVE to be able to be tuned easily but, a real aggressive idle is desired.

VT Stage 2's are worth the wait in my opinion. I'm also planning to buy some as soon as they come into stock. I've done a lot of whinning about the wait and several people have told me to send my stock cams over to Tim @ MPH and have him do a custom grind on them. That's really the only other option I would even consider, but I still don't even want to do that. Wait it out for the VT's.. if you're staying N/A those cams are just unbelievable

Why would someone tell you to have your stock cams reground? If your gonna have Tim grind anything they should be fresh billet blanks.

I would wait for the VT Stage 2 cams too man. I'll be saving up to get some in a few months as well. Can't wait. Also keep in mind you'll need to buy the spring kit for the Stage 2 cams as well. You dont need it for the stage 1 cams, but you do for the stage 2s.

Also, anyone know what the red-line increases to after you get stage 2 cams. What do you guys with the stage 2 cams shift at when you're racin?

VT Stg II cams are not easy to tune as most other cams. They are difficult to get the car to idle with these cams. Now that could be that people take shortcuts when installing thses cams, but it could also be that tight LSA.

I have the Comp 262's (similar to Stage 1's) in my 96 with NPI heads. I wnet from 208HP on a Dynojet to 230HP on a Mustang Dyno...probably close to 235-240 on a Dynojet so the gain is significant.
