I searched and came up with nothing. My friend is selling some 96-98 spindles pretty cheap and i read they are 8mm wider per side. That really doesn't seem to be to bad to me. Wondering who is using them and if they work? What struts are you running. I read the brake site and all it sais is you can use 96-98 spindles if you are planning on running an 8 inch wheel. I have found nothing to back this up. Thanks for the help.

I run 94 spindles with baer brakes and 17x8 FRPP bullits, I think there is plenty of room for 8 more mm's without the tire sticking out...I also run QA1 coilover setup up front

i also have the 96 setup.no problems here.the only thing you need to do is when you put the lower castle nut on the lower ball joint, you need to put some grade 8 washers to bring the nut up to ues the cotter pin, because the 96 and up ball joint are shorter that the foxes.i cant remember how much you need to bring it up but its not that much.im gonna try to post a pic to show you the washers. other than that everything else bolts right up .

Jozey's right, if I'm not mistaken it needs to be .330" thick, at least that's what some site said. Goodluck!

yea i think it around that size.as for the lower ball joint you use your fox body one.you dont swap them out.to much of a pain in the azz.just do those washers and your good to go.:nice:

well yea if you go with the 96 and up ball joints you dont need the washers.it just depends if this guy wants to do the extra work on taking the a-arm off and pressing out the old and pressing in the new ones.

I found it easier to just buy the Ford Racing Lower A Arms, even though they have Fox Ball Joints, they are upgraded to newer style low friction and plus there are new bushings in them too.

You do not need to take the A Arm off to press out the ball joints. Go rent a Ball joint removal tool and it hooks to an impact gun and they come out easy.

i'll remember that next time i do ball joints.i always pressed them in and out
