I can't believe it I was traveling on I-75 going home from work doing my normal 80 mph and a frickin rock hit the far right side of my windshield it sounded like a bullet or something. Anyways, I didn't think too much about it at the time as I didn't see anything. This morning there was a frickin 6" crack near the passenger side post with a nice pock mark about 1/2" in size!
My insurance doesn't cover windshields so I have to find out what it is going to cost to replace. Anybody have any ideas? I am almost afraid to call the glass places as I know it is going to be a steep hit in the wallet since these cars are so new.
I will probably wait until winter is over to replace it since these things always seem to happen during this time and don't want to take a chance on it happening again and in a couple of weeks I will be working from home anyways so I won't have to do the daily commute anymore and my pride and joy can stay in the stable more times than not.
