Heater Core Install (in the middle of one right now)

I'm in the middle of replacing my heater core, and I think i' only missing one thing that's not letting my dash come off. I've been following these instructions at Mustang Monthly. I'm on what they call step 14, where there is supposed to be a locknut "directly above the steering column that retains the dash to the pedal support." The picture they give is supposed to have an arrow pointing to it, but I can't see the arrow or locknut.
Picture is here

The passenger side of the dash is coming off fine, it just seems it's one thing on the drivers side holding it on. Does anybody have a better picture of where this one locknut is, or maybe a suggestion to what else I'm missing? I gotta drive this thing to work tomorrow somehow

Okay I guess I had everything out that was supposed to be, I just wasn't pulling hard enough on the dash to give me room. My problem now is the heater core case. I took the 2 bolts out on the top of the case that I could see, but it won't come off. Is there another bolt that I'm missing? I'm about to just cut the case up because I'm running out of time, would that be a bad idea?

On another note, I cut the blue wire that's grouped with the red wire infront of the heater core case. Anybody know what that is for? Hopefully nothing important.
