I got a kick out of "easiest", too.
Kids these days. Gettin' really hard to find one that can work on a car AND has passed 3rd-grade English.

Those of us who meet both qualifications don't ask stupid questions about putting Chevy engines in a Mustang! By the way, does anybody know how to put a VTECH in a 69 Mach 1?

sounds like you guys are scared to be beat by a fast car... i'll just go back and dig up some old threads then.
If by fast car you mean you? Not even on you're best day and my worst. Go ahead drop that sbc in. Just don't fool yourself into thinking you're cool and actually drive a real Mustang. Try asking a chevy forum about dropping a sbc in a Mustang. I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms too.

First of all, why would you want to go to the trouble of putting a SBC in a Fox?
two ways to make a stang fast, power adder on a ford motor, or a chevy swap.:D we do have a 90 gt here with a novi 2000 on it. it's my grandpaps car.

The was a guy in CarCraft magazine named Joe that put a 350 SBC in his orange LX.

I have the article somewhere on my computer.

Why not put an LS1 in an RX7, or Miata?

lots of people are doing it, chevy make a great motor, and ford has a nice light car and make alot of parts for them. everyone has one so parts are easy to find. i want to build a track car, so i picked a nice light car, and will put in a motor that i know well. what is wrong with that? i don't have a probelem with for or mopar or any company, i just want a good looking light car. if i had mad money, i would probably put a cobra motor in it.

Sounds like those guys know what they ara doing, so how about registering over there? Youll get more people that will want to help you ruin a good car.

sure lots of guys are doing it - and sure some of those stangs are wicked mean - but when some of those guys come to a forum with comments like " if you have 0 experiance with the swap then get out of this thread, i don't want to hear your crap..." well........ they get treated like a snot nosed kid for acting like a snot nosed kid. you don't have to talk to people like that to get results. there are alot of very knowledgable people on here who will take time to help you with practically any project you have - unless you make them decide you're not worth their time. and the whole fast car argument is long dead and gone - don't talk about it - show us. the stangent crowd is a damned good resource if you make friends here. ;)
