If by fast car you mean you? Not even on you're best day and my worst. Go ahead drop that sbc in. Just don't fool yourself into thinking you're cool and actually drive a real Mustang. Try asking a chevy forum about dropping a sbc in a Mustang. I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms too.confusion said:sounds like you guys are scared to be beat by a fast car... i'll just go back and dig up some old threads then.
two ways to make a stang fast, power adder on a ford motor, or a chevy swap. we do have a 90 gt here with a novi 2000 on it. it's my grandpaps car.302RollinHard said:First of all, why would you want to go to the trouble of putting a SBC in a Fox?
lots of people are doing it, chevy make a great motor, and ford has a nice light car and make alot of parts for them. everyone has one so parts are easy to find. i want to build a track car, so i picked a nice light car, and will put in a motor that i know well. what is wrong with that? i don't have a probelem with for or mopar or any company, i just want a good looking light car. if i had mad money, i would probably put a cobra motor in it.wazazzle said:If by fast car you mean you? i thought about a 240, but i like the fox bodies better.Henceforward said:The was a guy in CarCraft magazine named Joe that put a 350 SBC in his orange LX.
I have the article somewhere on my computer.
Why not put an LS1 in an RX7, or Miata?
