KDs are and look better than KDWs

honestly I dont know if they've been out long enough to know of longevity issues. Probably about the same as the original KDW's. Not going to last you as long as a set of Sumi's or Kumho's, but they'll hook twice as good for you. You'd have to go to tire rack and check out the treadwear rating, I have no idea what it is.

the KDW 2s have been out for over a year i think. my buddy bought them for his Audi TT almost a year ago, but with his AWD, he didnt have traction issues to begin with....

The KDW2s wear quicker than many tires in what I've seen. Great tire though. I'm going with BFG G force sports 265x35x18 all around if tirerack ever gets them back in stock.

PS. I agree with Kilgore. I will NEVER buy Yokohama tires again.

I have the avs es100 on my rear, and albeit they're a little noisey, and are a softer tire, they hold pretty nice. $130 a pop wasn't bad either

I am learning tords the Nitto and found them for $175 per tire with free mounting and balancing.

My sumi's did not last long either. The front tires went bald almost as fast as the rear tires. Dont ask me jow that happened.

I have never understood people's issue with Nitto's in the rain.. I have had mine for a year and believe me it rains plenty around here.
