I have a SCT W/ CAI Tuned by MD Motorsports. I broke down and ordered this morning from brenspeed for 169.00 w/ free shipping. I have had O/R H with flowmasters on my 04 GT and loved them. I cant wait to hear what this is going to sound like in person when installed:D

I hope you like loud.........no, let me restate. I hope you like LOUD. Well, wait a minute....... I hope you like VERY LOUD. Ok ok, I HOPE YOU LIKE VERY VERY LOUD!!!! :rlaugh: And you will have trumpeting (resonation) at 2500 thru 2800 rpm with the SLP system. You may like it, you may not.

And I ran with it for 2 weeks without a problem; then all of a sudden, had the SES light come on. Ended up having to have the rear O2 sensors turned off, and haven't had a problem since.

It's a good move, you won't regret the pipe. You may or may not like it with the SLP, depending on how LOUD (did I say LOUD) you want it and if you can tolerate the trumpeting.

i have flowmaster axle backs and ordered the O/R H from brenspeed last friday. it arrive on tuesday. brenspeed has great service! i also ordered a set of MIL eliminators. if you dont have a tuner, this is required, otherwise you will get a CEL.

Just to re-iterate what tom281 said... hope you like it LOUD. Without cats and with the SLPs, it is basically straight pipes. I've been in and around cars with straight pipes enough to tell that I don't want it THAT loud. It is probably only going to be very similar to what most race cars run. That usually sounds good in the high RPM range when racing, but not so good when running it easy.

I have o/r H with my stock mufflers. It is about perfect for me. It is nice a quiet enough while cruising, but if I get on it, I can make it sing. I've actually kicked around the idea of getting the flowmaster axle-backs, but I'm just afraid I will be giving up my cruising comfort.

Keep us posted about what you think!

Having had an X and an H on my 05, let me just tell you that the X is louder than the H, but the H is deeper with a more muscular tone. I have a buddy with slp's and an off road h and he is going to take it off. He says he has to either do 55 or 90 to be able to withstand the set up.

Let me be the first too say... I told you so. blackballed put his OR H pipe on today and.... He will be taking them back off today. INSANE CRAZY LOUD! Anyone looking for a OR H pipe, PM him, I bet he might give you a deal! The car sounded HOT for a stock car.

LOUD,LOUD,LOUD,LOUD,LOUD,LOUD,LOUD,LOUD!!!!! I am going to keep them on for a few days. Install time was quick and no problems. It literally sounds like you are on pit row at Bristol. I kind of like it, and it deffffinately turns alot of heads. It almost sounds like it is cammed out at idle. So did you think it sounded good Firestang70?

I had an O/R pipe on mine in combo with the Borla Stingers and it was just resonance city at moderate-low acceleration. Actually had to take the O/R pipe back off again. Had a very nice sound to it most of the time but it was just TO loud and the resonance was enough to make me remove the pipe while I looked into a different cat back.

Anyone running an O/R pipe with magnaflow cat back?

I just ordered an H pipe from Brenspeed, hopefully it will be here tomorrow. Right now I am running a Bassani x pipe without the cats and MAC mufflers, and it is mighty noticable. It can sound MEAN cruising down the road, or to quote a buddy of mine "a rabid werewolf", but it is severely raspy when I get on it. I've kept it on for about a week, thinking I might be able to get used to it, but after letting a friend hot rod it so I could hear it, that was enough to push me over the fence. I could hear that tinny rattling sound more than anything:nonono: But to reiterate, it can sound WICKED, but when it is not sounding like that, it sounds like a loose tin can....Hopefully the h pipe will be better.
