SlammedGT said:you guys cant tell the pic is a photsoshop????? are you serious? look at the turbo and supercharger....it cast no shadow and looks like its floating..... i hope no one thinks this is a real pic
I disagree.... this isn't a chop. Or if it is, someone wasted an awful lot of time with this one
There are two primary light sources in the photo. One of them is directly overhead of the driver's side cylinder head (visible in the reflection in the small portion of the windsheild). You can see the shadows that this light creates by lookin at the top of the intake manifold (#1) and see the resulting shadow from the engine hoist. You can confirm this by the shadow inside the supercharger (#2) and the extreme highlight on the top of the supercharger. There would be no other shadow cast from the supercharger that could be seen in this photo. The reflection of the oil fil cap is caught int he supercharger in two seperate places (#3) and is the correct distortion and orientation.
The other light source is off to the front of the car (visible in the reflection on the front bumper). This creates a shadow on the turbocharger to the metal plate that is holding it up (#4). Finally, you can see the reflection of the front of the engine hoist in the front bumper (#5).
Damn.. guess I should get back to work now.
