you guys cant tell the pic is a photsoshop????? are you serious? look at the turbo and supercharger....it cast no shadow and looks like its floating..... i hope no one thinks this is a real pic

I disagree.... this isn't a chop. Or if it is, someone wasted an awful lot of time with this one

There are two primary light sources in the photo. One of them is directly overhead of the driver's side cylinder head (visible in the reflection in the small portion of the windsheild). You can see the shadows that this light creates by lookin at the top of the intake manifold (#1) and see the resulting shadow from the engine hoist. You can confirm this by the shadow inside the supercharger (#2) and the extreme highlight on the top of the supercharger. There would be no other shadow cast from the supercharger that could be seen in this photo. The reflection of the oil fil cap is caught int he supercharger in two seperate places (#3) and is the correct distortion and orientation.

The other light source is off to the front of the car (visible in the reflection on the front bumper). This creates a shadow on the turbocharger to the metal plate that is holding it up (#4). Finally, you can see the reflection of the front of the engine hoist in the front bumper (#5).

Damn.. guess I should get back to work now. :)

As far as I'm concerned, you can't call that a civic. And pull off the GT emblem. You'll look like an idiot driving that thing. Oh yeah, prove it runs.
Im assuming you're referring to the pic posted in my post. They're two different cars. Thats just one I pass everyday on my way to class and decided to take a pic of it bc it had the GT emblems on it.

hell... if that is real how are you linking up the tranny to the engine block... where would it go? Not to mention how are you gonna run the driveshaft and make it RWD. And that hood is going to have a hole the size of Texas to let the engine through...

I am actually really interested to hear how you are going to overcome a LOT Of things in a swap like that. Care to answer a few questions for a curious enthusiast?!!!

There's the big problem with the whole setup, getting things to fit correctly. There is already a tunnel going down the center of the car that measures prefectly for my driveshaft, but I have to cut a tranny tunnel out for the front. While this is no easy task, the dash and spacing inside of the car actually allows for this easier than most would think. I will be able to put the stock dash back in, the passanger side room is going to be decreased a little but the drivers side should remain a fairly stock feel. The rear end will actually have an extremely similar design as a Stock mustang, I'm going to have to run a custom, shorter axle and it'll be fitted with the stock honda 4 lug bolt pattern, the rear end is obviously going to be COMPLETELY worked over, which will allow me to extend the wheels to 15x9 inch and run a 275 tire on the street.

Really, it's a whole lot of measuring, measuring, cutting, fabbing, welding, and ordering custom parts. I'm trying to drop the engine down as far as I can, I know I wont be able to get a stock hood on but I want it to look as stock as possible. I'll probably be running stock Mustang mufflers for awhile in fact just to keep the noise level down so I can surprise a few people. As far as the electrical, the engine will be completely run off a Megasquirt'n Spark 1, Version 3.0 which I have already built for this application. The transmission will actually, for now, be a T-45 due to budgeting limits. The Turbo isn't going on at first (The supercharger was more of a joke just because I had it laying around). I actually have almost all the parts, minus a few custom pieces that I need to order.

I'm proud of this little bastard. She took me awhile to build.
